THE VINEYARDS

The vineyards are located at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains, in Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, both being the most important wine regions of Argentina.
Lujan de Cuyo has the oldest and one of the highest quality vineyards.

Valle de Uco, in the last years, has become a privileged place with an important increase of the plantation of vineyards, with altitudes that rise more than 1,000 mts. above sea level.

The grapes are hand picked and carefully selected from the vineyards, which are 20 to 80 years old. Pesticide-free treatments preserve the ecological quality of the grape.Low yields, good handling of the canopy and balance of the plant are some of the controlled parameters. The varieties are Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

The semi-desert climate and the abundant presence of water extracted from artesian wells, make the area particularly suited for the cultivation of high quality grapes. The soil, the wide thermal altitude and the favourable growing conditions allow the fruit to reflect both the typicity and the terroir itself.
